The horse and cart trip week-end

The river Don has carved its way, creating a wild and steep valley with landscapes of traditions and legends. Come and listen to the secrets and mysteries of this beautiful country, quietly to the rhythm of the step of the horse ! Then in the evening , you will be invited near the fireplace where the story carries on...

Programme :

Day 1: welcome to the Guest House "Les Roseaux de Callac"in the early afternoon, where you will be given ideas for the discoveries of your free aftnernoon.

Dinner will be in the Guest House, near the remains of the XIIIcentury oven or in the dining room near the XVII century great fireplace .

Day 2: After breakfast,we depart at about 10.30.am for the horse and cart trip with Michel and Chantal, the hosts of your stay.This will include a guided tour of Guémené-Penfao and the Don valley to the rhythm of Prince,the magnificent draught horse . After a delicious picnic in the valley, we return to "Les Roseaux de Callac" at about 4.30.pm.

Your accommodation will be in a guest house, which is a beautifully renovated farm house in Guémené-Penfao.
